Kana Seiki (she/her) is an actor, dancer, choreographer, and costume maker originally from Japan. Because of her multicultural background, she enjoys working on new plays and films that often incorporate multiple languages and cultures.

As a movement enthusiast, she likes specifying the physical world of characters and portraying them in all their quirks, sensitivity, and power. Kana would like to further explore art as a selfless and healing practice, serving as a vessel for delivering joy and transcendence to others.

Her passions expand beyond performing: She loves creating a unique world through movement and most recently choreographed a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is currently working at a costume shop, constructing and sewing corsets and dresses for Broadway, Off-Broadway, and national tours. As an arts administrator, she was one of Fordham Theatre’s BIPOC Alliance chairs and previously interned at Manhattan Theatre Club. She also thoroughly enjoys playing around with Adobe.

Kana is grateful to be a recent recipient of the Denzel Washington Scholarship from Fordham University where she graduated with a double major in Theatre and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. In her spare time, she can be spotted rollerblading throughout the city, drinking oolong tea, and watching clouds.
